Heidi is an attending physician in the division of neonatology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). She completed her medical school and residency training at the University of California San Francisco, and was a neonatology fellow at CHOP, where she obtained her MSCE.
Dr. Herrick’s research interest is in using a human factors approach to improve delivery room care and resuscitation. Her work focuses on using video review to study neonatal resuscitation and intubation. Her K08 Career Development Award is focused on identifying quality metrics for delivery room resuscitation.
