The Supraglottic Airway for Resuscitation (SUGAR) trial was awarded funding from PCORI. SUGAR is a type III hybrid effectiveness implementation trial to promote the evidence-based practice of supraglottic airway use during neonatal resuscitation for babies born ≥34 weeks gestation. SUGAR will be conducted across 28 hospitals participating in the AAP Delivery Room Intervention and Evaluation (DRIVE) network. Liz will lead the trial at CHOP with co-PI Dr. Chris Bonafide.
